The estimated date (ETA) for an item I have on backorder was pushed out. Why does this happen?
There are many reasons why a back-ordered item ETA could be delayed. This can be caused due to complications during shipping, inclement weather, the item could be back-ordered at the factory itself, or the manufacturer may be unable to meet the quoted delivery timeframe. We do our best at GAHS to help prevent delays on back-ordered items as much as we can, but much of the process is beyond our control. We know that backorders and delays can be very frustrating. Call us if you have any questions or concerns about back-ordered items and we would be glad to assist.
Please note that due to COVID-19, our suppliers are experiencing a much higher amount of delays than under normal circumstances. We are doing our best to work with suppliers and merchandise that experiences minimal delays, but please be aware that many of these factors are not under our control. We apologize for any delays you have experienced, and appreciate your patience and understanding.
