Do you offer a layaway program?
No, we do not offer layaway programs. However, we will hold current merchandise for in-store customers only for up to 30 days with a 25% deposit. After 30 days, any merchandise not paid in full will be made available for sale.
What forms of payment are accepted for purchases?
Cash and checks are welcome. Most major credit cards can be used as well, and we offer special financing options year-round.
If I go in store, am I going to be hassled by a sales person?
We train our sales people to allow you your own space to browse without feeling pressured, while at the same time being close enough to be available if you decide you need any assistance. We try to create a no-pressure environment in our stores, which is part of the no-hassle experience we believe in. Don’t believe us? How do I know which store has a specific product?
On the item page, it will specify whether it is an outlet item or not. The item page will also tell you which of our home stores, outlet stores or sleep shops has stock for that item. We made life easy for you.
Do you accept checks?
Yes, in-store. We do not accept checks or e-checks online.
Does Great American sell gift cards?
No, currently we do not sell gift cards. Gift cards may be given at The Great American Home Store’s discretion for store credit, but not purchased.
